creation waits

Sat Mar 15, 2008, 9:58 AM
All things complete
O infamous city, full of turmoil, I'm terrified at your collapse
The kings, they shudder with horror, their faces distorted with fear
Endless empires gently brushed away in the blink of an eye
All creation, wilted

Captain, the ship is sinking. Have mercy.

hehe yeah actually my dad was in the air force.. so we moved aroudn the country a lot. kansas, alaska, michigan, california.. now i'm here in arkansas with mar haha..

i have to say, i was pretty surprised that you listened to norma jean though... didnt seem like it would be very prevalent over there i guess
:iconhtur:
Ah state hopping! Fun. How about out of the US? I'd die being stuck here. It's too small for any states here... I haven't conquered all the little countries around. Yet.

I owe that whole Norma Jean thing to my older brother... He was very old school Tooth & Nail, before Solid State was born and everything. His reasons for being so into T&N are pretty much the same ones I listed. I think. Haha.

So there has been a whole emocorexxxslitmywristsxxx crap movement here, albeit a tiny one... Thanks to Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance getting lots of radioplay. It's quite sad. Anyways I have tried desperately to escape it, the only good thing out of it is that the, uh, louder emo kids like metalcore (God knows why... tell me one thing that is emo about them) but that kinda works in my favour because they actually bring those cds in.

However... I STILL CAN'T FIND REDEEMER ):

lame.... redeemer is amazing. just as all norma jean is.

emo kids are funny.. i suppose i get to make fun of all the different kids.. emo, scene, goth whatever... cause i dont really fit into any of them exclusively.. i guess more than anything i would be scene, but i'm not really truly scene either..

um... i drove through canada on the way to alaska since it's not part of the main 48 states... so i mean, i've been out of the country, but never lived out of it... and never been overseas.. just canadia and mexico..

anyway i hope redeemer heads your way soon... if not, you might just have to order it..
:iconhtur:
Hahaha. Scenester! MySpace is the mark of a true scenester. Unfortunately I have MySpace.

Yeah it is nice to not be able to fit into a.. umm.. scene (haha that sounds kinda weird)... The variety I listen to at least allows me to make fun of all the branches of music movements. I'm crossing my fingers for Redeemer.. I'll keep you posted on the dire state of Singapore's lack of availability of better music. *sigh* And they wonder why the kids keep downloading music.

Ohh man, travelling is awesome. I haven't lived out of the country either but I've travelled enough to know I'd really enjoy living somewhere else.

Canada, oh Canada.. I sil vous plait

hehehe i'm not reeeeeally scene... just kinda. i promise. i listen to too much other weird music and go to too few shows to really be a scene kid.. i'm just kinda hanging out doin whatever i guess.

actually, i'm looking forward to the new copeland cd... another 11 days.. woo
